Delist to the Binance Exchange! The Price Can Be Heavy!
Binance, the world’s largest exchange by volume, is cleaning up the bear market. We see delists in this direction. we have mentioned that a significant part of the altcoins will not survive the last winter during 2022. Delist news was announced for many altcoins today morning. However, one of them is out of gear and may annoy the Binance exchange.
Rest on the Binance Exchange
Mithril, a blockchain social media project, has asked the Binance exchange to refund the 200,000 BNB worth $53 million it deposited for listing, after the crypto exchange removed its token from the platform earlier today. The project said that it sent this money to the Binance exchange as a deposit as part of the initial listing in November 2018. In a statement released today, the Mithril team wrote;
“Considering that Binance unilaterally decided to terminate this partnership, we respectfully request that our 200,000 BNB deposit be refunded”.
at the time of listing in 2018, the value of the BNBs sent was about $ 1 million. However, despite the recent Deceleration in the intervening time, the deposit amount has been valued tens of times. Especially in the middle of a bear market, it seems unlikely that the Binance exchange will give tens of millions of dollars to the team.
Mithril also claimed that the project is a long-time collaborator of the crypto exchange. Mithril’s token, which bears the abbreviation MITH, became the first token on the Binance Chain when it was launched in April 2019. They were also the first pair listed on the decentralized exchange Binance. Mithril also added that he has been donating to Binance Charity since 2018 as part of a long-standing working relationship with the company and collaborating on other initiatives. the listing announcement in 2018 indicates that 20,000 BNB donations have been made to the Blockchain Charity Foundation.
Mithril stated that the payback is necessary to continue its activities. However, Mithril social media has not been active for 2 years already. His last Twitter post before today was on January 7, 2021. The project’s website also seems to be offline. Thursday, MITH was among the four tokens Decommissioned by Binance. In the announcement, it was stated that the tokens no longer meet the exchange’s listing standard. MITH currently has a market capitalization of $5.9 million.
